About the team:
The International Delivery Team is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of PRIME to financial institutions across multiple regions and markets.
Based in Cyprus, one of the key engineering and innovation hubs for PRIME, our teams work closely with international banking clients to deliver transformation initiatives, modernize payment ecosystems, integrate with industry networks, and support migrations from legacy platforms. PRIME is a payments platform trusted by hundreds of banks and financial institutions worldwide.
As part of our modernization journey, our teams leverage cloud-native technologies, AWS, Kubernetes, microservices, DevOps practices, and AI-enabled development capabilities to transform how payment solutions are delivered.
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions within the PRIME payments platform.
- Lead and support the delivery of large-scale client implementations, including solution integration, deployment, and customer onboarding activities.
- Work closely with international banking clients and internal stakeholders to deliver business and technology transformation initiatives while developing deep expertise in the payments industry.
- Support integration with external systems, payment networks, digital channels, and third-party solutions, including data migration from legacy platforms and participation in certification activities.
- Promote engineering excellence through software quality, automation, continuous improvement, and adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native technologies, microservices, containerization, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted software development capabilities.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, payments, banking technology, or a related field.
- Strong software development experience with Java or C++, including object-oriented design and development principles.
- Experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot, relational databases, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and customer representatives in a delivery-focused environment.
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and platforms such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices or containerized architectures.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling, including Git and Jenkins.
- Experience with frontend technologies (React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) or Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Experience within the payments industry, including card issuing, acquiring, payment networks, tokenization, digital wallets, Visa, Mastercard, or real-time payments solutions.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 34,000.00 – EUR 45,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
