Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant / Office Operations Specialist to join Cyprus team. This role focuses on managing primary documentation, ensuring data integrity in our ERP system, and handling administrative interactions with local institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain basic accounting records and manage supporting trade documentation.
  • Operate within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including monthly reconciliation and checks of accounting data and source documents.
  • Perform administrative validation of purchase and sales documentation prepared by responsible parties.
  • Coordinate the preparation of VAT and Intrastat reports within Dynamics together with external advisors
  • Coordinate the collection and administrative submission of CBAM data
  • Manage corporate and operational documentation, including Acts of Acceptance, Board Resolutions, and other statutory papers.
  • Represent the Company at governmental and private institutions to obtain necessary certificates, statements, and permits.
  • Liaise with banks, brokers, logistics partners, and internal departments for documentation exchange and administrative coordination.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and manage general office administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Legal Status: Must be a Cyprus tax resident (holder of a Cyprus passport or EU residency/Yellow Slip).
  • Ability to work locally from office in Nicosia, Cyprus.
  • Proven background in basic accounting and the management of primary trade-related documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Understanding of VAT and Intrastat reporting principles; familiarity with CBAM regulations is a significant advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction with banks, logistics partners, and local governmental institutions.
  • High level of responsibility, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle both routine and specialized administrative tasks efficiently.
