Job description
Function:
The main task comprises the development of a digital language course, using innovative pedagogical concepts that are scalable and able to be used for a multitude of languages.

Further tasks:
Bring in expertise and advice as a native Arabic speaker and translator
Translate and adapt the digital master concept into Arabic
Design and develop language-specific grammar lessons
Assist with picture selection and organization
Produce online learning content using an e-learning authoring tool
Quality assurance, testing and continuous improvement of content
Assist in the content upload process to the learning platform
Maintain project documentation
Translate and adapt the analogue master concept into Arabic
Quality assurance of all content on the web, mobile and analogue products
Upon request, record your voice for the language course
Depending on workload and deadlines for content production, additional tasks could also be part of this role.

Who you are:
Expert user of Arabic
Fluent in English
Working knowledge of the MS Office suite
Flexible and creative
Self-motivated and organized
Previous experience as a translator or experience teaching a language as a second language is a plus
Previous experience with an online authoring tool is a plus
Cypriot citizen or holder of a work permit in Cyprus
