We are looking to recruit at least 3 high caliber individuals to join our Actuarial and Insurance Risk Consulting team in Nicosia as Actuarial Analysts. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will embark on a rewarding career in the field of actuarial science, utilizing your mathematical and analytical skills to assess and manage risks for various organizations. This role will provide you with valuable hands-on experience and knowledge as you work closely with experienced actuaries to analyze data, develop models, and provide insights to support business decision-making.

The Opportunity:

  • This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring actuaries passionate about mathematics and statistics to work in the following areas:
  • Assist in conducting regular audits and reviews
  • Assist in designing and implementing actuarial models and algorithms to aid in capital risk management and actuarial valuations
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to create accurate and reliable actuarial reports
  • Participate in actuarial research and development activities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of actuarial tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of actuarial projects and initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing actuarial findings
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance requirements
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical and professional skills

The Requirements:

  • Undergraduate / Master degree or equivalent in any of the following disciplines: Actuarial Science, Mathematics and / or Statistics
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience in the Life and Non-Life actuarial field.
  • Willingness to pursue actuarial credentials, such as the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) or the Society of Actuaries (SOA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS is considered a plus
  • Proficiency in using actuarial softwares practices is considered a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of insurance industry, including relevant regulations and practices is considered a plus
  • Willingness to frequently travel abroad
