ICAP Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of its client, a well-established Group of companies based in Limassol, and the largest in its sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join its Finance Operations team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting cycle of the department and will assist with export documentation casually and on an ad-hoc basis.

Accounting Assistant (Ref. code: 6160/AA/ESS/CY)
Location: Limassol
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance Support
- Assist with daily accounting administration, including sales and purchase invoices
- Support supplier statement checks and basic reconciliations
- Maintain accurate filing systems and document control (physical and digital)
- Assist with data entry and internal reporting using Excel
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department
Export Documentation Support
- From time to time, the role will also support export-related documentation, including:
- Preparing commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documentation
- Coordinating documentation with internal teams and freight forwarders
- Ensuring shipment details are accurate (product codes, weights, customer requirements)
- Maintaining organised export files for compliance and traceability
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work within deadlines
- Strong written and spoken English, and Greek.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts administration or a similar role
- Exposure to export documentation or a trading/export environment will be considered an advantage
- Familiarity with accounting software such as ESOFT, PREMIERSOFT, or similar systems
