A Ukrainan company is looking for an account for a full-time position in it’s Limassol office.

Requirements:

The candidate must be a resident of Cyprus and hold official status with the right to work.

1. Education:

  – Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

2. Work Experience:

  – At least 3 years of experience as an accountant.

  – Mandatory experience in accounting for Cyprus legal entities.

3. Knowledge and Skills:

  – Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

  – Familiarity with Cyprus accounting, tax legislation, and reporting requirements.

  – Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns for Cypriot entities.

  – Knowledge of VAT, VIES procedures and other local taxes in Cyprus.

  – Payrolls calculation, social insurance contributions, Gesy contributions etc.

  – English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher (document handling and communication).

4. Personal Qualities:

  – Attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.

  – Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

  – Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting:

  – Full-cycle accounting for a group of Cyprus- based companies.

  – Recording bank transactions, income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.

  – Ensuring compliance with local legislation.

2. Tax Reporting:

  – Preparing and submitting tax returns (including VAT, VIES).

  – Calculating taxes and ensuring timely payments.

  – Communicating with local tax authorities.

3. Financial Reporting:

  – Preparing financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

  – Consolidating reports for the entire group of companies.

4. Interaction with Auditors and Authorities:

  – Preparing documents for audit processes.

  – Participating in audits and addressing ongoing issues.

5. Financial Control:

  – Monitoring the timeliness of payments.

6. Other Responsibilities:

  – Reporting to company management.

  – Advising on Cyprus financial and tax regulations.
