Johnsun Heaters LTD was founded in Cyprus in 1981 and as a limited company in 1988. Our aim is to manufacture solar thermal products for all customer needs and to provide photovoltaic solutions for both electrification and investment purposes both in Cyprus and Internationally. Johnsun’s philosophy is to provide high-efficiency solar products at an exceptional quality, having the client always at the centre of attention. Our solar thermal products have been marketed since 1980 with the creation of Johnsun as a small family workshop. The company strives to be a pioneer in the solar thermal market with continuous technological upgrades utilising the latest technologies in solar water heater manufacturing. Important milestones in the company's history are the introduction of high-pressure copper cylinders for thermosiphonic solar thermal applications since 1985 and the introduction of ultrasonically bonded fin absorbers since 1992. The annual production of solar thermal collectors gradually increased to over 4,500m2 per annum over the period 2000-2007. In 2007 began the in-house production of ultrasonically bonded copper fins. The continuous strife for product quality of its solar thermal products led the Company to obtain the ISO 9001:2008 certification for factory production in 2011. Currently the company's solar collectors are under Solar Keymark certification. Our Photovoltaic Systems Division began operation in 2008 and has since delivered more than 5MWp in installed systems. Our expertise allows us to deliver turnkey projects of sizes under 1kW to megawatt size installations. The company takes pride in providing equipment only from leading manufacturers. The company’s philosophy is not only about providing quality products but also focusing on long-term support and maintenance services.
