Akelius Foundation is a charity foundation and employs sixty people in the Akelius Language project through companies in Nicosia, Cyprus and Berlin, Germany.

The employees develop educational material for teaching languages and mathematics.

UNICEF and UNHCR are responsible for implementing the courses.
