Job Description: We are seeking a skilled, experienced generalmaintenance technician to add to our maintenance team tasked with ensuring thatall company facilities, from retail stores to headquarters, are safe and in goodworking order. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience intechnical areas such as:

• Electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
• Refrigeration systems and equipmentrepairs
• Construction works/repairs
• Repair of production machines andequipment (ovens/mixers/production lines etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carryingout planned maintenance work for buildings, equipment and machinery aiming fortheir optimal performance and long-term use.
• Regularinspections aimed at spotting potential issues early and taking preventativemeasures to resolve them.
• Respondingpromptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues related to electrical,plumbing, refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Carryingout emergency repairs to ensure smooth operation and a safe workingenvironment.
• Maintaincompliance with all safety regulations while performing work-related tasks.
• Carryingout small-scale maintenance and construction work on commercial or professionalpremises.

Qualifications:

• Certificationsfor electrical works or similar technical qualifications,
• Provenexperience – 5+ years total – gained preferably within the food industry.
• Strongknowledge of HVAC fault detection and repair.
• Adeptwith electrical, plumbing and minor construction maintenance repairs and faultdetection.
• Abilityto work independently and as part of a team, always conscious of occupationalhealth and safety.
• Excellenttime management and prioritisation skills.
